OCH aims to help students reach their full potential by ensuring that the individual learning needs and styles are identified effectively at the beginning of their studies. Our objective is for students to be successful in all aspects of their course of studies, thus maximising their results in both course assessment and examinations.
Our lectures will facilitate, explain and teach whilst our seminars are interactive and allow students to test their understanding of key areas. Students use especially prepared course materials during their studies. Students are regularly tutored in how to achieve their potential in assessments.
Lectures and seminars guide students through their course, explaining key aspects of each topic and how best to utilise their personal study time. Lectures go into detail, focusing and expanding on the important features of each topic.
Course Materials are carefully chosen to give students a thorough understanding of each topic. These materials help students prepare for and expand on the topics dealt with in class, and also enable students to practise key skills and prepare for examination.
Course and Module Planners are route maps through each course and refer students to relevant reading and study materials. Students can see what they should be studying from the first day of their course right through to their examinations.
Assessment is commonly by class participation, assignment and examination. Students are carefully facilitated in the skills and strategies required to maximise their potential in examinations, verbal presentations and for coursework assignments.
